Catalogue of the exhibition « Hétérotopies. Des avant-gardes dans l’art contemporain » at the Museum of Modern Art in Strasboug and at the Aubette. The exhibition shows relations existing between conceptual ideas of Avant-gardes artists and architects of the 1920s and the works of ten contemporary artists resonating with this artistic movement. The inside pages show photographs of the art pieces directly on site. The book is intersected by text sections placed and sewned in oblique where are printed interviews with the artists relating their attachment to the avant-gardes. The tactile and physical use of the oblique evokes the formal universe of achitecture, art and book design of the avant-gardes.
